Ingredients:
- 3/4 C. scalded milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- While milk is heating, add butter, egg, and honey to a large bowl.
- Add scalded milk to bowl and beat while gradually adding flour.
- Knead till smooth on floured baking sheet. (For a softer bread, skip kneading and simply spread dough evenly onto lightly floured baking sheet and prick with fork.)
- Roll to 1/4” thick and prick with a fork.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
