Mission & Goals
The Intercontinental Church of God exists to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God, make disciples, teach the words of Jesus Christ, and strengthen those whom God calls.
The Church’s mission is grounded in Christ’s commission to preach the gospel as a witness to all nations, make disciples, and teach people to observe all that He commanded.

Fulfilling Christ’s Commission
The mission of this Church is to fulfill the commission Jesus Christ gave to His apostles—a responsibility that remains incumbent upon every generation of His Church.
That commission is to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God as a witness to all nations, to make disciples of all nations, and to teach them to observe all things Christ commanded.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
These responsibilities constitute the Church’s primary goals and represent the very justification and requirement for its existence.
Our Goals
The Church seeks to fulfill its commission through media, local congregations, qualified ministry, publishing, education, service, and the continuing spiritual care of those God calls.
Proclaim the Message Through Media
To conduct radio, television, Internet, and other electronic media campaigns on a continuing basis in order to further the message of the Church.
Raise Up Local Congregations
To establish local churches of converted and baptized believers as God adds to His Church through His calling and brings people into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Prepare Qualified Servants
To ordain and credential dedicated individuals who meet the scriptural requirements for pastors, elders, teachers, deacons, deaconesses, and other offices needed to serve the Church.
Publish Biblical Truth
To publish the message of the Church and its affiliated institutions in whatever forms are needed for the public, members, fellow laborers, and supporters throughout the world.
Establish Helpful Institutions
To establish educational, cultural, and charitable institutions when God provides and the work requires them, in order to further the Church’s stated purposes.
Teach and Edify the Church
To educate, instruct, encourage, inspire, and spiritually edify those whom God adds to the Church in all the teachings of Jesus Christ.
