Ingredients:
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. butter
- 2/3 c. warm water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Sift flour, cornmeal, and salt together.
- Cut in butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in warm water and chill.
- Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls, then flatten as thin as possible without breaking.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool and store in an air-tight container. This dough may be wrapped in wax paper and kept in the refrigerator to be baked as needed.
